Our Story

South Tenerife Language Centre has been open since April 2019 and has continued to grow rapidly over the last five years.    South Tenerife Language Centre offers a professional, modern and stimulating learning environment  to enable children to reach their full potential.  Places are available for temporary or permanent students from all over the world no matter whether children have little or no English.  The centre also caters for  children who are native English speakers and wish to continue their studies whilst abroad.    Places are available on a part time or full time basis. Specialised individual plans are made for each child to provide the correct level of support and individual attention to ensure they receive the best possible start in life. 

 

All students are carefully monitored to ensure their education attainment achieves the maximum results through regular learning reviews and assessments including verbal and written tests (where age appropriate) to ensure they are meeting their learning goals. 

 

South Tenerife Language Centre also provides English lessons for children who attend other schools on a full time basis but wish to enhance and improve their English.  Children are welcome to attend the English lessons only or any other lesson that they are interested in . 

 

The centre follows the British National Curriculum and offers Maths, English, History, Geography, Science, Computer, Art, Music and  Spanish lessons to children from 5 years old to 12 years old.  The lessons start at 2pm and finish at 7pm, Monday to Friday.

 

The centre follows the British National Early Years Curriculum for children from 2 to 5 years old, from 9am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday.
